Session Description: This is a special discussion for Learning 2010 participants in the healthcare field. As we face continuing changes and challenges in the world of healthcare, it is important to consider the unique role that learning plays in this field. Join colleagues from government, non-profit and private sector healthcare organizations in a free-form discussion about:
* Unique aspects of healthcare: what is unique to learning in the healthcare field?
* Visions of the future: how might healthcare learning evolve in the future? What are our hopes for change in healthcare learning? What learning technologies hold the most potential?
* Extending the reach: What is the role of learning in healthcare beyond employee development? How can we extend learning to patients and their families?
